YEAH!!! Come 25 August 2013, Dirtraction will be bringing all you hardcore mountain bikers the Singapore Mountain Bike Carnival, with a lung-busting 8 hour enduro ride over a 9km loop at Lor Asrama.
For those who don’t know how an enduro works, basically you have to ride the same loop over and over and OVER again till the 8 hours are up. The person / team (depending on category) who completes the most loops during the 8 hours wins.
Personally I’ve never cycled at Lor Asrama, as far as I know, it’s been a restricted zone for military training purposes. If they’ve opened it to the public, then, woohoo! Time to get more practice time in.
