Howdy…Hey Ya’ll…How’s it going?
So this week has actually started off kind of slow, but I am very excited and anticipating my cousins wedding next weekend. The last time I went to a wedding, it was for my best friend who lives in Kansas City, and I had a complete and overall blast of a time.
Just as it is approaching the cooler season, fall, I wanted to kind of come up with one my favorite fall cocktails of all time, and I wanted to share it with you guys as I partnered with Loverly on this post for the best wedding seasonal cocktail.
This is called “The Apple Pie Martini“. I was trying to decide if I wanted to share this recipe with you guys, or more of a cinnamon martini recipe, but I felt as though this specific cocktail was more-so for weddings, and more seasonal appropriate.I’ve always loved cinnamon growing up on well…just about everything, so for this cocktail, I always love adding in that extra spice to flavor up the drink.
Here is how to make the “Apple Pie Martini“:+ 2 oz. Vanilla vodka
+ 1 1/2 oz. Unsweetened apple juice
+ 1/2 oz. Simple syrup
+ 1/2 oz. Lemon juice
+ A pinch of cinnamon { I like to add in a bit extra for some extra spice }
+ An apple slice
Directions/How-To:
1. Combine all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker
2. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice, shake well and pour into a chilled cocktail glass.
3. Finally, garnish with a slice or two of apple.
