11 Random Facts About Me
1. I wear a UK size 5 shoe.2. I used to have a huge fear of flying and have (more than once) checked in, made my way to the departure lounge, stood in the queue to board and then not got on the plane! I am now 100% over it though!3. I have to wear glasses or contact lenses all the time for short-sightedness. I usually wear glasses to work as contacts hurt my eyes when I work with a computer for a long time and I wear contacts for social occasions. I would LOVE to have laser eye surgery!4. I don't like any kind of fizzy juice. Coke, Pepsi, Irn Bru, hate them all!5. I have just set up a little shop on Etsy called Sweetest Clementine which sells handmade wedding stationary. It's my dream to make a living from something which allows me to be creative. 6. My parents divorced when I was five years old. Both are remarried and I now have an older step-brother and a younger half-sister. 7. I have been with my boyfriend Jack for a year and a half and we moved in together after a year. Some people think this was too soon but we've both been in (several) failed relationships so we know that what we have together is completely different to anything we'd had with others before.8. I am painfully shy when I first meet new people and I often worry that people mistake my shyness for rudeness. 9. I love old movies, especially any starring Audrey Hepburn and anything directed by Alfred Hitchcock! 10. I would love an SLR camera to take better photographs for my blog but I don’t know where to start!11. I am struck with overwhelming feelings of wanderlust on at least a weekly basis and I'm now counting down the days to my next trip!

Q1. What is your favorite TV show?
A1. Right now I’m LOVING Homeland which has just started on Channel 4 in the UK. My guilty pleasure though, is Miranda. She’s dorky, clumsy and constantly embarrassing herself and I completely relate to her!
Q1. What is your favorite scent?A1. I’m a signature scent kind of person so I always wear L’eau Miss Cheri Dior by Dior. It’s fresh, light and citrus-y without making me smell like a teenager! I used to drown myself in sickly sweet, fruity fragrance as a teen! My Mum always wears Eternity by Calvin Klein so that holds a special, sentimental place in my heart too.

Q3. Are you going to or have you been in further education (i.e. post secondary school)?A3. Yes! I graduated 5 or 6 years ago now (eeek!!) I studied Business Management and in my honors year I specialised in Marketing. It was great but if I had to all to do over again I’d study something I love instead of something practical. I didn’t have the confidence at the time to study fashion/ literature/languages/art as I didn’t think I would be good enough at any of them to make a career out of it.
Q4. What is your favorite summer activity?
A4. The summers are over before you know it in Scotland so making the most of the outdoors while you can is amust! I love doing something physical outside and last year I joined an outdoor boot camp. I also love visiting more of my beautiful Scotland after hibernating all winter. I turn into a tourist in my own country and visit Edinburgh Castle the Wallace Monument etc.

Q5. What type of music do you like?A5. My friends always make fun of me because I rarely listen to music by people who are still alive! I don’t go to many gigs or music festivals because I’m not very “current”! I love artists like Billie Holiday, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding etc. I would love to see Cee Lo Green and Plan B live though!

Q6. Are you a coffee or a tea drinker?A6. Herbal tea all the way! Especially green tea. My Mum and my boyfriend are both lactose intolerant so neither of them have tea or coffee since they can’t have milk in it. I stsrted drinking herbal tea with my Mum when I was little years before it became the cool thing to do! :-pQ7. What is your favorite animal?
A7. I am a huge animal lover and always had dogs growing up. I now have two cats and would love a dog but with the hours my boyfriend and I work it just wouldn’t be fair. My dream pet though would be an elephant!
Q8. What is your favorite beauty product right now?
A8. It’s more a skincare product than a beauty product but Quinoderm 5 acne cream is saving my life right now! I’ll definitely need to blog about it soon!

Q9. What is your favorite clothing store?A9. I’m going to cheat a little bit and say Ebay! If I find something in any shop that I like the first thing I do is try to find it cheaper on ebay! There is usually someone who has bought the item and lost the receipt and can’t return it. That’s when I swoop in!
Q10. What holiday do you look forward to the most?
A10. Other than Christmas we’re not really big on holidays in the UK. I do love St Andrews Day and Burns Supper in Scotland though. It’s a good excuse to give in to the stereotypes and don some tartan, head to a ceilidh and eat some haggis, neeps and tatties!
Q11. Where would you like to be in 5 years time?
A11. I’d like to be doing a job which I love. Not like. Not one that's alright. One that I love. I’ve taken steps towards it already :-) I’d also like to have traveled and visited a few more interesting countries, possibly living abroad at some point too!
