And, why?
Primer - Smash Box photo ready, I have been using this for a long while & it is a the first primer that actually works for me.
Base Product - I tend to mix it up but at the moment my fave from the drug store is the good ol Revlon Colour Stay & for high end Dior Skin finish, I love this foundation for the summer! It's never cakey, applys smoothly, lovely coverage but still let's my natural skin tone come through, ahhh heaven in a bottle, but that bottle is nearly finished so I'm trying out a tester of Estée Lauder Double Wear & so far I absolutely love it & thinking of buying the full size bottle.Blusher (cream or powder) - I like to double up both for extra staying power but if I'm choosing one its defo powder. I always go back to Max Factor Flawless Perfection Blusher in the shade Mulberry, it's the one blush I always repurchase.Highlighter - Over my higher end highlighters I often reach for my e.l.f pinktastic which e.l.f call a blush but it most defo isn't as it is packed full with shimmer, if you used this as a blush you would look like a disco ball.Eyebrow product - I'm yet to find my staple eyebrow product, I do have my eye on the Anastasia products. At the moment I am using the Givenchy Eyebrow Show & it does work great but I'm not totally sold on it being my staple brow product.
Mascara - Any mascara by maybelline I tend to love & at the moment I am using The Rocket Volum' Express.Concealer - collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer, obviiii. Although I am wanting to try out the mac pro long wear concealer for a change.
Powder - I swear by Rimmel Stay Matte in translucent.
Bronzer - Benefits Hoola Bronzer, the perfect matte bronzer that's also great for contouring.
Make up brush (single) - My C433 Pro Bleding Fluff Brush From Crown Brush, for blending shadows it's a life changer.
Eye shadow - Now this is hard as I LOVE eyeshadows. Part of me wants to say Stila kitten as it has been my recent eyeshadow obsession, but I think a neutral brown shade is always going to be in my routine so I'm going to cheat a little here & say my Essentials Palette by Cargo, I literally use it all the time. When Cargo cosmetics where first in the UK when I was a young teenager I used this palette & now cargo is back I still use it.Eyeliner - I find black liner to be to harsh on me so I use maybelline eye studio liner gel in brown.Lip liner - collection 2000 pink heaven. I have been using this lipliner for years and I mean years! Most probably since my early teens & to this day I still buy it although now I rarely find it in store so when I do I bulk buy.
Lip balm - I use to be addicted to blistex but now I can not go a day without using my Nivea Lip Butter in Raspberry.
Nail polish - I love O.P.I polishes, maybe that's my years working in salons where we had to use O.P.I products, but no other polish brand compares for me although the runner up is Revlon. Fave colours by O.P.I are Strawberry Margarita which is a bright pink & Cajan Shrimp a gorgeous reddish coral, these two have been my faves for years.
