The Observatory Hotel: High Tea

Today I met up with some lovely ladies to enjoy high tea at The Observatory Hotel. It was a beautiful warm day here in Sydney so it was the perfect excuse to get out and meet some fantastic new friends. Everyone was really lovely. The meet was a  mix of people from Twitter and the blogging world. It was lovely to meet you all ladies.

I always find scones are a hard one to get right. These were a little dry but with lashings of jam and cream you didn't notice one bit!

I chose the Masala Chai. I must say this was one of the best Chai Tea I have ever had. The spices and milk were perfectly unified. Everyone received different tea pots, different sizes and patterns which was a cute little touch.
 
My two favourites were these perfect little fruit tarts filled with berries, kiwi and a smudge of custard and the mini creme brûlée. Both so delicious!
I left the Observatory completely full after a fantastic afternoon of conversation about blogging, shopping, and career. It's nice to find shared passions and interests with new people.
