I've always wanted to put on a quintessentially green "mud" mask which has been spoofed as a beauty regimen for so many years. This minty and delightfully cooling clay-based mask by LUSH, the Mask of Magnaminty has quite simply ticked that one off the bucket list for me. I'm absolutely smmmmmmokin', Darling. It cools and cleans with China clay and uplifts with fair trade vanilla and fresh peppermint. Unlike many other cooling masks it's got honest-to-goodness truly organic ingredients.

The LUSH team sent me three of their skincare best-sellers and the Mask of MagnaMinty is my favorite of the bunch. I'm not quite into skincare items that supply cooling sensations upon application unless I know it's truly a botanical effect given off by natural stuff or if my skin feels calmer after. With LUSH products I know they use the good stuff. For these hot and sticky months especially after several days together of wearing makeup and sunscreen I like that this mask does its simple job as a good pick-me up. I love that it smells like choco-mint and rinses off cleanly.
