Hi Girls..

Hope you guys are all doing fine!

Last Sunday I was at lifestyle picking up some stuff and then a friend of mine asked me to accompany her to Bourjois counter and she happened to pronounced it wrong! I told her about the right pronunciation but then kind of wondered even I was unaware of lot of the correct pronunciation of so many brands including few of my favorites!

I know these French words get difficult to pronounce and then I decided to dig into the depth of it and try hard to get most of the correct pronunciations!!

Some of the designer brands we use to take up for our project in college and I still remember a faculty of mine who had this superb accent and she use to tell me about these pronunciation!

  2. LANCOME:- its pronounced as “Lon-Com”
  3. LOCCITANE:- its pronounced as “Lox-ee-Tan”
  4. ILLAMASQUA:- its pronounced as “Illa-mass-ka”
  5. GUERLAIN:- its pronounced as “Geer-Lahn” (N is silent)
  6. NYX:- its pronounced as “Nix”
  7. CHAMBOR:- its pronounced “Sham-bawr”
  8. GIVENCHY:- its pronounced “Ji-von-shi”
  9. KERASTASE:- its pronounced as as “kera-stass”
  10. ESTEE LAUDER:- its pronounced as “S-tay-lawder”
  11. STILLA:- its pronounced as “Stee-lah”
  12. SHISEIDO:- its pronounced as “She-say-doh”
  13. SHU UEMura:- its pronounced as “ Shoe-ooh-emor-ah”
  14. SCHOLL:- its pronounced as “Shoal”
  15. YVES SAINT LAURENT:- its pronounced as “Eve-san-Laur-ahnt”
