By Artsyweddingblog @alicepub

Indonesian wedding ceremonies are known to be fascinating and fun to attend. The splendor of an Indonesian traditional wedding is understated and by attending it you will get an intuition into the rich Indonesian culture and customs.

Wedding between Bonny and Derrick is an incorporation of two opulent cultures of the Indonesians and the Filipinos. The combination between two distinct cultures is quite interesting adding to its exquisiteness. Bonny and Derrick chose Bali as their wedding destination that was just perfect and stimulating to celebrate their special day. The wedding scene was exotic and lovely, being detailed in every aspect. The wedding character was built by bringing together great ideas from the Filipino and the Indonesian culture that worked out successfully for an absolutely stunning ceremony. Derrick and Bonny had to combine their dispositions in order to create amusing ideas from their personal interests. The couple was able to give its wedding a modern outlook in spite being a traditional wedding.

The newly weds decided to have a Filipino wedding reception that really changed everything. The reception was designed in a way that there were cages for doves that would be released as a symbol of a good start according to Filipino traditions. There was also an open money dance where all guests were invited to enjoy the dance and fine music. This dance represents the harmony that the couple would enjoy in their lifetime. The guests were served with plenty of Filipino delicacies and refreshments to liven their spirits.

The traditional Indonesian wedding decors were impressive since the couple chose to have it the Balinese way. There were elegant Balinese umbrella boys and flower girls. Other factors such as wedding invitation designs, party favors and table settings known as folklore Rama and shinta were based on the Indonesian culture. The wedding invitations in Indonesian culture are mostly worded in the same manner showing regard from both families to the guests who are to attend the wedding. The party favors to appreciate the guests include key chains and a number of assorted items.

The bridal attires were Indonesian too where Bonny came up with the idea since she has a taste for her national attire known as the kebaya that drew everyone’s attention. Her amusing style stood out throughout the ceremony. The groom’s suit was magnificently designed that it achieved a kingly look while his reception wear adornment was comfortable and ideal for the Bali humid weather. The bride’s wedding gown was designed in the Javanese style for the batik reception. The two families united by love were stunningly dressed. The bride’s family was dressed in the traditional Indonesian attires while the groom’s family looked excellent in Filipino style. This culture combination made the wedding amazing yet simple.

The wedding flowers were a perfect choice for the couple where they went for pure white blooms such as roses, lilies, frangipan and calla. There was a floating stage over the pool that added light and glamour to the scene. The colors of the day were warm gold, tiffany blue and cream. The colors looked really wonderful. The wedding pattern from the two cultures succeeded in making the wedding worth praise and remembrance.
