There’s often an assumption that an old house might be haunted. People allow their imaginations to conjure stories about what went on behind the dirty, darkened windows; who walked down the creaky staircase; who made the deep cracks in the floorboards and up the walls to the cobwebbed ceilings? But houses are only as haunted as the people in them.
Perhaps an old house can bring certain people to it. People whose souls are festering from within and can create darker corners in the dusky hallway. If nightmares drive you away it’s simply because you don’t belong there. There are worse things than the demons in your dreams.
