THE GOOD THINGS

Hey there! I hope you all have been making the most of the glorious weather, it appears that it could all be over now thanks to the lovely thunder-storm we had last night, luckily I had my boyfriend as my ‘thunder buddy’ as I am terrified of it. I’m hoping the gray sky we are having today is temporary, (Wishful thinking).

ESPECIALLY as I have a Hen Do to go to this weekend at Ascot! (I am very excited) This will be my first time at the races and my first Hens party to! So this week I will be prepampering myself ready for the weekend.

Fortunately for me the sun has brought out some color in my face and shoulders, (Never ever my legs though) but as a pre event pick me up I will be using my GOOD THINGs ‘Five Minute Facial Mask’. This mask is perfect for clearing up any impurities in the skin, and giving the skin a revitalising boost, (Ideal for the morning after the night before, as a pre event treatment or to tackle the unwanted breakouts).

When choosing ANY skin care products I go by the ingredients/content rather than the brand – I originally chose this mask as it contains Green Clay and kaolin, which help to draw out impurities and unblock the skin, (Clay based masks are ideal for combination – oily skin!) I wanted an emergency breakout mask, but after using it a couple of times I realised its potential.

As well as Green Clay and kaolin the mask also contains avocado oil, which is  very nourishing, rehydrating and even has anti aging properties (which I am an instant fan of) it is suitable for sensitive skin and  also contains Goji Berry which is an antioxidant and soothes the skin.

Now as this is a ‘Five Minute’ mask, there is no such excuse as ‘I dont have the time’, I always said to my facial clients in the past that they should apply a face mask while doing the housework or even sitting in front of Eastenders, (Multitasking).

This is definitely my go to product for a pick me up for any occasion, (Even just a midweek pampering), I really like it as it smells great, it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth, draws out the impurities but doesn’t dry my skin out, and it does all this in a matter of minutes.

At only £5.99 from boots I have to say this is an amazing BARGAIN BUY!

A BIT ABOUT GOOD THINGS:

The skin care range was developed by an award-winning beauty writer Alice Hart-Davis, (So she knows what she is on about).

Its FREE FROM parabens, mineral oils, sodium, laureth sulphate and animal ingredients, (Unlike most beauty products unfortunately) – AND it is suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.

ANOTHER of my go to masks is the Origins Drink Up Mask which I use as an intense hydration treatment – it just makes the skin feel incredible, (Many beauty bloggers have praised this product –  And through blogging I found out about it).

WHATS YOUR ‘PICK ME UP’ PRODUCT?

WHATS YOUR ‘GO TO’ FACIAL MASK?

Lots of Love,
