My husband and myself both did the 2-week low carb challenge. Both have lost 13 pounds and are continuing with the low carb lifestyle. Once ketosis kicked in, we both found our appetites diminished substantially. Now it's a case of continuing and finding recipes we both enjoy and looking forward to more weight loss.

Diet Doctor gave me the daily encouragement and delicious recipes to help me start this journey. During the two-week challenge I lost over seven pounds which is fabulous motivation. Being a good cook made portion control my hardest issue. I quit eating soda, chips, candy, and most processed foods years ago. Therefore, losing weight is a true challenge.

At first, it was hard to pass on the rice, potatoes, and pasta, but with Diet Doctors inspiration...I am doing it! Today, I feel better. I am less bloated with lots of energy. I can't wait to see me in a year. Thank you very much, Diet Doctor.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I think that says it all, lol. I am sooooo impressed with KETO! I am 60 yrs old and in the past have found nothing that would help me lose this menopause weight. I started gaining weight when I turned 50 and wasn't able to get it off. Through this diet plan or should I say, new way of life and eating for me, I have shed about 4-5 pounds.

I just love it. I have learned so many things.

Hello Andreas Eenfeldt - Diet Doctor!

My name is Derek Smith and I live in Prince Edward County in Ontario, Canada.

I was placed on the keto diet by my new family doctor

I was placed on the keto diet by my new family doctor who suggested it as a possible means of reducing inflammation in my body. My doctor noted that most of my recent illnesses, and some older afflictions, were caused as a result of excessive inflammation.

He asked if I was willing to try out this diet; I said that I was, as I'm not a total stranger to diets having been on the Elimination (Exclusion) Diet for two years after a significant bout of Reiter's Syndrome in 2000.

I went on keto on Sunday, July 15 and although my two weeks are past, I'm still on it and have no particular end date in sight!

I feel good with lots of energy and increased mobility that comes with being at optimum weight!

During this time, I lost 6 lbs and that is quite a bit for my 5'9" height and medium build. I've never in my life been anywhere near overweight, but I had been struggling to get down to a weight that I felt good about. I now have and I'm delighted with the results. I'm not sure how much more weight I want to lose as today I'm the lightest (158 lbs) I've been in years. However, and I emphasize this, I feel good with lots of energy and increased mobility that comes with being at optimum weight!

Throughout the two weeks, I never wavered from the diet, although I didn't follow the recipes. Being a single man, I cannot be bothered with overly involved recipes, but rather I followed my own microwave cooking skills learned when on the Elimination Diet.

My immediate plan is to continue with keto and maybe ever attempt a super recipe dish sometime soon.

Good morning, I am an 64 year old female from Mississauaga, Canada. I followed th 2-week challenge and found it much less difficult than I expected. The recipes were easy to follow and very tasty, making the challenge great.

As I am a type 2 diabetic, I am hopeful that by continuing with this LCHF program, I will be able to stop my meds. In the 2 weeks, I have lost 12lbs as well. I have joined the monthly program so that I can enjoy the videos and additional recipes.
