I don’t know if you guys are following my Slow Down and Savor Facebook page, but it’s pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. Yeah, I think I’ll go ahead and toot my own horn, and say it. It’s tremendous.
My favorite thing about social media and most especially Facebook, is that I’m able to share some of the coolest, most informative and most drool-worthy articles and photos as I find them, all throughout the day, all day, every day.
This past week, I’ve stumbled across some of the yummiest looking photos, and found a couple really great recipes and tutorials, and wanted to share the true stars here on the blog. Maybe I’ll make this a weekly thing. We shall see!

True origins of foods we are SURE are from somewhere else.
How to properly smoke beef ribs via Aaron Franklin & Eater.com
And then there was this recipe for DILL PICKLE SOUP…
Dill. Pickle. Soup. Dill. Pickle. Soup. Dill. Pickle. Soup. Thank you Noble Pig.
This past week has been amazing in terms of great photos and information, and I can’t wait to see what else will come my way. Just keep checking back, since there’s always something new.
