Posted on the 10 January 2012 by Literaryexploration @Lit_Explorer
Teaser Tuesday [20]: Eve & Top Ten Tuesday [7] Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Teaser Tuesday [20]: Eve & Top Ten Tuesday [7]This week's teaser comes from... Eve by Anna Carey
"Well that's good," the boy said. "Because I don't want to have intercourse with you anyway. You're not my type."
I'm about 120 pages into this book and it is AWESOME! Not only is it really exciting and pretty crazy, it's hilarious! I can't wait to finish it and finally meet Anna Carey on Thursday!!

Top Ten Five Authors I Wish Would Write Another Book (debut authors, authors who seem to have taken a hiatus, OR for those who read classics authors you wish would have written another book before they passed)
1. Suzanne Collins - I absolutely LOVED the Hunger Games series, so I'm really hoping she writes something else soon!
2. J.K. Rowling - Harry Potter was a huge part of my childhood and it's been such a long time since the final book came out. I would love to read something new by Rowling, even if it's not Potter related.
3. Jane Austen - I've always loved Austen's books, and it would be great if she were still alive to write more! It would be especially interesting to see what she would write NOW.
4. Stephanie Meyer - I know she's still technically doing stuff with Twilight, but I would love it if she wrote something NEW. Not Twilight related.
5. J.R.R. Tolkein - I'm a big LotR fan, so it would be great if Tolkein was still alive to write!
I couldn't think of more than 5 because most of my favorite authors are still alive or they're continuing with my favorite series!
