Hi Metalheads! It’s a pleasure for me to present on MetalWind a Spanish Metal band from Galicia. They are called Tálesien and they have a new released highly recommeded. This new album is entitled “El Silencio” and it’s full of great metal songs with a nice sound and a very good production.
Tálesien band has come a long way in the metal world and it has played with great and consagrated bands like Anthrax, Cradle Of Filth, Inmolation or DIO. The band was born in 2002 and throughout these years it has evolved and it was consolidating its own heavy metal style with fantastic progressive metal elements. As result of this, Talesien offers a recommendable musical product with high quality that has been recognized by critics and the public.
The beginning of the band are in a musical project called Kraken. A band with which these guys did released two EP’s “Tierras de Sangre” (1999) and “Eyes of Destruction” (2000). In 2002 they change the name’s band and Tálesien was born with a new EP entitled “No Limits in Time”. After that they burst into the Spanish Metal scene and Tálesien begins to reap successes in the metal world.
In 2005 Tálesien release their first full lenght album entitled “The Blind Carpenter” and they participate in different festivals getting a positive and successful experience that will lead them to record in 2008 their second album entitled “Melancolía”. This album will confirm to Tálesien in the metal scene and will get very good reviews, introducing the Talesien’s own metal style.
After Melancolía album there will be an amazing new album in 2012 entitled “El Silencio” which is revealed as a collection of intense songs, with powerful riffs, worked melodies and intimate lyrics that follow the wake of the previous Melancolía album.
We are faced with a great band, that continues to evolve and grow, offering us the great melodies and the amazing progressive sounds that compose the particular Tálesien’s universe. Songs like “En tierra de Nadie”, “Dile al Mundo” or the powerful “Amnesia”, really I think that will be converted into great classics of Tálesien. I also recommend you “Arriesgándome” which you can enjoy in the following video.
