We're all very good at surviving but not many of us learned how to live
Just look at the number of people rushing by you daily. Try stopping some of them and try to ask them some questions. Most likely, they'll reject you by indicating that they are busy. However if you think about it, are we REALLY that busy? Or are we busier being "busy"?
The other day I was watching Humankinda on youtube and it really states how everyone is just rushing through their life without appreciating the beauty of it. We get our schedules packed with meetings, gym classes and social nights. Yet, we don't set aside time to relax, unwind and simply do nothing. Even when we are commuting, we are still using our phones to catch up on social media. When have life become to such a chore where we chasing time is more important than being happy?
Thus it got me thinking, maybe it's not too late to change. Maybe we have a chance in living life the way it is. Of course, that means some changes need to be applied. One of the changes I would suggest would be the No Phones initiative.
This initiative enable us to connect more with the people who matters the most. Besides that, the no phone initiative allows us to date ourselves exclusively and find out what we truly want - sometimes all we need is some peace and quiet to let our inner demons out. Despite not depending on anyone else but our minds, I would still suggest that one keep track of time.
