Hello Menopause Goddesses. Sorry for the radio silence but I’ve been traveling for the first time in 2.5 years – and wow. Just wow.

Seeing friends, kids, and grandkids has just been rejuvenating. No, the pandemic isn’t over but I still feel like I’ve been freed from confinement.

Menopause and quarantine do not go together well, so stop a moment and congratulate yourselves on coming through this challenging time as well as you have.

I want to reiterate that EVERYTHING menopausal is addressed here on the blog – just put the topic of interest in the Search box and every post about that will show up. We’ve been doing this for over 15 years, so there is a treasure trove of info and commiseration. Topics like “hot flashes”, “vaginal dryness”, “anxiety”, “mental changes” and of course “remedies”.

Of course, as new information becomes available, I will be posting it here – but don’t forget to check out our Facebook page – where new info will be posted and an opportunity exists to connect with other menopause goddesses.

Have a joyous Summer Solstice – practice self-care (if we keep practicing it, maybe we’ll actually get good at it!). Massage, bubble bath, reading a good book, or just daydreaming are excellent starts. I’ve begun reframing my walking exercise as a “wander” which sounds so much more nurturing than work-out. Yesterday, I took a forest bath – just walking through the trees. The Japanese call this shinrin-yoku -it’s become popular to “bathe” in the forest for physical and psychological health. I can report that it was wonderful and I will be doing much more of it. Maybe I’ll see you there!
