Sweat Is Beautiful Ball Workout

By Laurenegeorge

Happy Hump Day!
I know I'm weird, but I love Wednesdays! I get to go into work a little later on Wednesday morning so it gives me time to fit in a workout and enjoy a big bowl of oats while catching up on blogging or watching some good 'ol HGTV. It's my ideal morning, so I try to relish it each week.
This morning's workout was a goody. I chose two of my favorite workout tools........ a stability ball and a medicine ball and got to work.

Before I started the strength portion of my workout, I worked up a good sweat on the treadmill. If you don't have a treadmill at home, a few laps around the block always does the trick. Running still makes me pretty nauseous (baby girl doesn't like the continuous bouncing), so I went with a high incline walk instead. We pounded out 35 minutes at 3.9mph with a 6% incline to really work the legs and glutes. If you are a runner, feel free to up your speed to a nice jog. Don't forget to set your treadmill to at least a 1% incline. At 0%, most treadmills are actually at a slight decline!
After my treadmill session, it was on to strength work. Like I always say, you don't need an entire gym to get in a great workout. These two little beauties did the trick just perfectly!

This workout can be enjoyed by my moms to be and regular workout warriors alike! As always, listen to your body and do whatever feels right to you.
I'm off to the studio now. I hope you all have a wonderful day!
