Hey There,
Well it feels like absolutely ages since I have done one of my ‘Sunday catch up’ posts. I’m not quite sure why I stopped doing them to be honest, but now that I am on a mission to become so much more organised with my blogging, (With all this scheduling malarkey) my ‘Sunday round ups’ are making a come back.
I personally like to know a bit more about the bloggers I follow, and religiously read. I think it helps you create more of a connection, plus I’m just a bit nosey! I am also a fan of people watching, (I swear its not as creepy as it sounds), I’m just interested in people and what they do/wear etc – in general. That’s why I am keen to carry on the ‘Sunday’ post, just to give my readers a little more insight to what I tend to get up to, (Although most weeks its not very exciting…Mainly involving cats, food and a lot of cuppa teas).
This week though I have been on holiday in Greece, (That is why my blog and social media has been a little quiet). Yes, finally it was my time to gloat about going on holiday, my time to get my tan on, and my time to indulge in lots of glorious Greek food and cocktails. As my mom always says, ‘a holiday is a necessity not a luxury’, (You don’t need to tell me twice to go abroad), but it is so true. I feel completely relaxed, revitalised, and I have a tan, (What more could I want?)! I didn’t realize how much I needed that holiday, until I stepped of that plane and was hit with that wave of 41 degree heat. We stayed in Rhodes and arrived back Wednesday evening. *Holiday posts to follow*
Unfortunately since being back I haven’t been too well, *Feeling sorry for myself face*. I think sometimes when you give your body a rest, your body thinks ‘great, this is the perfect time to feel poorly’. But I’m sure I’ll be back to my normal self with a bit of routine at work, and general ‘manning up’. SO Friday I was in bed by 9pm, how rock and roll of me. Saturday I had to run a few errands, taking Archie to the vets, attempting to pick up my reserved laptop, (Which Currys decided to add £35.00 on top off…I don’t think so), beauty services haul, and de fluffing my sisters brows.
It was lovely catching up with my sister, it appears that in my absence her baby bump has grew over night, (She is nearly 20 weeks) – It is all very exciting, I can’t wait to be an Auntie. We went to a local pub for some lunch, where I had posh bangers and mash and my sister went for some sort of lamb kefita kebab thing, with what I assume is tzatziki and pita bread, it was delicious, (Unfortunately no photos were taken – I tend to consume my food so quickly there’s little evidence to capture when I do remember my camera). We then went our separate ways, which meant I spent the rest of the day looking for things I wanted to buy but shouldn’t, and watching Transformers.
One of my best friends and oldest school friends has come back from her two year long travels this week. I am hoping to catch up with her today, and a few of the other girls at the Winchester Hatfair, (Why is the sun not out?).
Apart from sunbathing on a Beach in Rhodes, I have also managed to write a few posts for the blog, I’ve been getting creative with some arty nails inspired by the 4th of July celebrations, and chatting about books and reading, something I haven’t really touched upon before – So make sure you take a read, and give me some suggestions.
What have you been up to this week? What would you like to see on the blog next week?
Lots of Love,
KBxx
