Jerry Brown, California’s governor, has tweeted out (not too long ago) the following statement:
This Sunday will be Steve Jobs Day in the State of California.
October 16th is also the date in which Apple will be holding a more private memorial service to mostly heroes of the tech industrie and close friends/family of Mr. Jobs. But, this new holiday is basically something for most people to be able to show Steve Jobs respect in their own way.
I don’t live in California, and not even in the U.S, but I will definitively try to do something on that day to remember Steve Jobs, or at least have some thoughts about him and how he changed this world.
