They are rich in antioxidants, boost the immune system and protect against free radicals. This immunity-boosting superfood is low in natural sugar and has essential fatty acids for your heart. Since I am new to the Acai lifestyle, I ordered 4 medium-sized Acai bowls - Tropical Acai, Fruity Delight, Signature Acai and Berry Berries. The Acai bowls come in 2 sizes, medium and large. For every bowl, you can customize your bowl with additional add-ons. These add-ons are optional and they will come in a small container that is separated from the original Acai bowls. There are three categories of add-ons you can choose from, Drizzle, Superfoods and Summer fruits. For Drizzle, you can choose between Peanut Butter, Nutella and Honey. For Superfoods, you can choose between Chia Seeds, Almonds, Cranberries and Pumpkin Seeds. For Summer Fruits, you can choose between Banana, Strawberry, Blueberry, Kiwi, Pineapple and Mango.

Since I've gotten one of every bowl they have except Nutty Nature, I chose to not have any add-ons as to taste the bowls at their most authentic state.

Tropical Acai

The Tropical Acai contains seasonal fruits that are refreshing to the taste. It has Acai with Pineapple, Banana, Mango, Raisin, Coconut Flakes, Walnut, Cranberries and Chia Seed. This bowl is 452 calories, 58g carbs, 16g protein and 19g fats.

Tropical Acai Review

To ensure that the Acai bowls are fresh upon delivery, the fruits and chia seeds were frozen before delivering. Thus, the fruits were still in a slight popsicle state when they arrived. The delivery person also asked us to put the bowls into the fridge immediately to ensure freshness.

The first bowl we tried is the Tropical Acai bowl. The Tropical Acai bowl is an Asian delight for it is filled with a variety of fruits exclusive to the tropical climates. From mangoes to bananas, this bowl gives you the idea that you're relaxing on the beach of a resort while cooling yourself down with their speciality dessert. It was the first time we tried Acai Berries. In our impression, Acai Berries are supposed to be bitter but this puree has a mixture of sweetness and sourness to it. It goes well with the tropical fruits delight.

Signature Acai Bowl Review

The Acai Purée was light on the tastebuds with a tingling sweetness. Paired with granola and pumpkin seeds, it gives u the sensation of a healthy cereal breakfast. The strawberries and raisins went the best hand in hand with a large scoop of the unique Acai base. The banana felt somewhat out of place at the start but after leaving it for the last, it felt like a seal to the deal. The blueberries were like little pockets of fruity explosions in your mouth, surprising you with its berry delicious citrusy taste.

Overall, the Signature Acai Bowl is well worth with its abundant nutritious fruits. It is a good treat to either start your day, as a mid-day snack or taken as a way to pleasantly end your dinner.

Berry Berries Review

Unlike the others, the Berry Berries bowl has a special mango base that has a sour taste to it. Accompanied with blueberries, cranberries and raisins, this bowl is a party in one's mouth for I was able to feel the juicy explosions in my mouth when I bite down on the fruits. Since everything was so juicy, I was glad that they've added plenty of almond flakes and granola in the bowl for the crunch in every bite.

From their special mango base to the varieties of berries mixed in the bowl, the Berry Berries bowl is a delight for those that enjoy sour food or a berry fanatic.
