A couple of weeks ago the sun finally made an appearance for the spectacular Midlands wedding of Katy & Scott. Ahead of a fuller feature post next month, here’s just a little taster from their day. Located in the gardens of the splendid Somerford Hall, in Staffordshire stands this beautiful, Grade II listed, summer house. A quite romantic setting for some portraits, it afforded the newlyweds an opportunity to spend a few quiet moments together.
Stood just inside the gazebo, sharing a kiss, I bent low to frame the bride and groom in the columns of the gazebo’s gothic arches. As I had planned, or, was it mere coincidence, I forget precisely which, the Sun was in the perfect position to cast an almost heavenly shaft of light down upon the happy couple, as well as to create some rather colourful flare, adding an extra dimension to one of my favorite images from the day. I hope that you like it to, leave me a comment in the box below, or, why not like it on Facebook, if you do. Come back soon for some more from this wedding and others, or, if you fancy, take a browse around the rest of my blog.
