Day 7 of the Sri Chinmoy Ten and Six Day Races 2018 and the only change amongst the leaders is that Vinati Docziova of Slovakia has moved into third place in the womens 10 day race behind Ilvaka Nemcova and womens leader Nataliya Hlushchuk.
Ashprihanal Aalto leads the men with a 75 mile day whilst Budjargal Byambaa took the days title with 84.8 miles. Third placed Pawel Zuk, fresh from setting a new Polish national 6 day record had a 51 mile day while Yuri Trostenyuk in fourth had an 80 mile day to close within 5 miles of the podium spot. Nicolae Buceanu also set a new Romanian national 6 day record and George Biondic set a Canadian national age group record for 6 days.
Second and third places in both the mens and womens 6 day races are being contested while the leaders have some cushion. John Geesler has a 50 km lead and Sylvie Boisvert has some 37 km over Vera Kalishmanova who has a very small lead over Petra Kasperova. Pratishruti Khisamoutdinova moved into fourth with a 50 mile day.
