A few weeks ago, me & my bf went for a spa day at the popular New Hall spa & Hotel in Birmingham. The package consisted of Champagne & canapés on arrival, a 3 course evening meal, and breakfast the following day. Additionally we booked a 1 hour beauty treatment service each, totalling up to £250 (together).I completely forgot to take pictures of the spa facilities, but to mention it was my first spa experience and I didn't know what to expect! We both was booked in for a 1 hour full body massage, to be honest it's quite nervous not knowing what a full body massage will be like (lol). My beautician was really lovely & made me feel relaxed and calm, the aroma of the room and oils had a significant lavender scent, which is probably why I felt at ease as the massage made my muscles less tense and made me sleepy :) ;we thoroughly enjoyed our massages! After the treatement we made use of the spa facilities such as the jacuzzi pool, sauna, and steam room! This was just ahhhhhhhh 😌.

Champagne & canapés
Starter: Pan fried Mackeral. A light and refreshing starter, loved the marinated tomatoes & couscous with it.
Main: Steak cooked three-ways. This was quite a plate, having my favorite meat cooked in three different ways on one plate 👌. Very well seasoned and tender cut of meats, surprisingly filling even though it looks little.
Main (bf's): Pan seared Fillet of Cod. A light yet delicious dish of fresh fish. Love the simple presentation.
Dessert: Pistachio cake with raspberry sauce & ice cream. First time ever trying something pistachio! Was sooooo good!
Dessert (bf's): Creme Brûlée and homemade shortbread. Best Creme brûlée I've tasted so far.
A very hearty and traditional English breakfast, need I say more :)
Fresh fruits from the buffet - Got to have your five-a-day!
For the first time visiting a Spa, it was a thorough great experience. The beauticians & staff were welcoming & professional, the food was highly presented, indulging and incredibly filling. Not forgetting to mention the traditional interior of the hotel room was intriguing as it had a historical background to them but we had a pleasant nights sleep, and it was great that we were able to use the bar facilities at night. Loved our stay & would want to visit New Hall again in the future! :)
Have you been to a spa? What was your experience like?
