My initial plan for today was to walk at lunch (or possibly do the cardio workout with the Super Secret Jillian Michaels Workout Society) but when I saw the weather saying this:
I knew I had to do this:
So, I changed into my running clothes...short sleeves and capris all the way...and headed out for a nice and easy run in the glorious March sunshine.
Just ran the Southwood loop at an easy pace. Tried to speed up as I went but wasn't really feeling speedy today. It might have helped if I had eaten something before I left.
And this is what it looked like when all was said and done:
and, best of all...my fitbit said this when I finished
Though that seemed low for that distance of run, I'll take it. I should have no problem hitting 10,000 today.
Day 3. Holding strong. My coworkers are now well trained to yell "yarn ball winder" at me if I waver. But so far I haven't felt the need to snack. And I am officially coffee weaned. Tea is amazing. I have so much more energy without being saddled to a cup of yummy creamy sugary coffee. Funny how that works.
