(GOOGLE TRANSLATE)The UCI , after various councils have introduced some changes to the regulations and UCI World Cup events regarding the 2014 season .
The first change concerns the World Cup XCO is reviewed where the number assignment pectoral ( subject always tricky since in MTB races as well is essential ) . In 2011, the starting reflected the ranking of the World Cup but it gave less importance to the dotted UCI , then this year the starting order was determined according to the UCI rankings and this caused to athletes out of the Top25 but who were competitive and among the first places in the World Cup.
From 2014 there will be a change that we think is more than excellent. The top 16 of the World Cup will start with the first 16 numbers (first 2 rows) and then to follow will count the UCI rankings . This rule will apply to both Elite for both U23 (male / female).
Still resists the XCE who, after a disappointing first edition, this year has come to the general public with quality events and athletes who are specializing in this new discipline thus bringing greater show. Now the appointments of races UCI XC Eliminator will be called C3, then assigning scores to the participants and being governed in all respects by the UCI rules with organizational and economic less restrictive.
