Can you really get a peel AND mask in 15 minutes flat? I tried out Soap & Glory’s mask, The Fab Pore for no more than 15 minutes and here are my thoughts.

The mask is pretty much like a clay mask, but it has these beads which are made of rice. My question is.. How did they get the beads to be blue??
I only applied it to my t-zone as I didn’t want it to dry out my skin. I have combination skin with visible pores on the sides of my nose.
Upon application the mask gives the skin an extremely menthol-like cooling feeling.
Unlike other clay masks, it does not fully dry nor crack, so I could continue doing my activities while I left it on ( I hate idling while having a mask applied).
After I washed it off, the pores did seem slightly smaller, but I’m not too sure about the “peel” part. It’s a really gentle peel from salicylic and lactic acid, but it doesn’t give you that “new skin” feeling.
My skin did feel squeaky clean and not dried out.
The next day, I woke up and my t-zone was still a touch oily, so I feel like this mask, although being a clay- base, doesn’t really dry out the skin.
While it does tighten the pores slightly, I think using a good exfoliator would be better than trying this as a peel.
I would recommend it for combination skin, but oily skins may prefer other clay masks that really suck up the oil.
On the whole, this mask does make for a refreshing pick-me-up because it feels super cooling!
