Smarty Ring is a perfect combination of high technology and fashion
Smarty Ring started as the Indigogo concept, representing a smart device of an elegant design, made from surgical stainless steel, with 13 mm of width and 4 mm thickness. However, there is more to it than meets the eye! Smarty Ring can be paired pair with smartphones via Bluetooth and includes a wide range of notifications and controls. It can be used for notifications, including incoming and outgoing calls, texts and emails, as well as real-time updates from Facebook, Twitter, Hangouts and Skype. Smarty Ring is compatible with Android and iOS devices.
Smarty Ring is like a smartwatch on your finger
The ring is waterproof and charges via magnetic induction. Since the 22 mAh battery provides about 24 hours of battery life it means you need to charge it every day. Smarty Ring comes with a monochrome LED screen that can be used outdoors. It displays the time and can be used as a stopwatch or timer.
A fully spec’d version of this smart ring will be priced at $275 and it should become available in the first quarter of 2014. We are really looking forward to this piece of innovative technology!
