It has been awhile since I've posted some new makeup looks, between college and working on my knit shop Amseleigh I have not dedicated much time in beauty blogging and instagram. What was planned to be a week off has turned into some months. Its very easy for me to get burnt out on trying to be present on social media and then I suffered one of the most crushing tragedies of a blogger the death of a computer. Now however I have mostly sorted out my tech set up for now and I look forward to exploring my blogger voice once more.

Outside of many technical setbacks I really did not feel like blogging, with the constant fluctuation of followers and waiting on some audience engagement I was not inspired to create anything and found myself drowning in self doubt and criticism. Its a problem I know pretty much everyone putting themselves on display online struggle with the same problems and if you find yourself in the same boat taking some time to unplug for however long you need is highly encouraged from me.

As I mentioned at the beginning I have been working on my knit shop named Amseleigh, in these photos I am wearing my essential slouchy knit beanie WIFI. The WIFI slouchy knit hat features a double knit brim for a secure and thermal fit and is design with a two tone color block, I am wearing the smokey/ice gray combination. Along with hats I also design, make, and sell super cozy chunky knit socks. I absolutely love knitting, I have been knitting more than half my life now and I love designing and creating my own patterns as another creative outlet in my life.
