My sixth Valentine’s Day spent with Prawn is by far the best besides the first one. I requested to spend the day doing something different and also save the hassle of getting gifts for each other. As time goes, I realized my love language is quality time spent. I would choose quality time over gifts and flowers anytime. So we cooked a simple diner at his place before heading to Gardens By the Bay. We initially wanted to have a picnic but the rain made us stay home to eat instead. The day was simple but fun because of him.
It’s warming to see how everyone spent their V day and I’m happy with how mine turns out. No flowers, balloons, plushies or gifts; just you and me doing something that we’ve always wanted to do, just the way I want it.
