As you avid readers will know, I have been on a quest for some months now in my search to find something that is just as good as Bioderma that is easier to get hold of here in the UK. So far my search has been fruitless but I have found the odd good eye make up remover and I think I may have found another one…
The Simple range has long been a favourite of mine. I have used and enjoyed many of their products from facial wipes to scrubs (see post) and they have all been gentle and kind to my sensitive skin. After finishing my third bottle of L’Oreal eye make up remover (see post) I decided to try something else, as I have found that on very tired eyes, the L’Oreal one can sting which is never fun.
This new one from Simple is pretty amazing. Firstly it has all the great qualities other Simple products have; no perfume, no unnecessary chemicals. This also contains no oil (bonus!).
It really works too. It easily removes heavy eye shadow and mascara (even waterproof) without you having to rub at your eyes. Just soak some onto a cotton pad, wipe and go. On more stubborn products like liquid liner, just gently push onto the eye and hold for a few seconds then wipe away. It never stings or makes the eyes feel sore and tight. It’s just really great.
Quick, easy, simple. No messing. It is also a brilliant price too and widely available. A big high five from me!
