I am going to be writing about one such beauty in this post today – Handcrafted jewelry from KoralTree by Suguna.

Why polymer clay jewelry?

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I am very passionate about my accessories particularly earrings and very picky-choosy about them – but with Koral Tree, I am just spoilt for choice!
Also this is the first time I am going to be using accessories made out of polymer clay.
Koral Tree accessories are made by blending and layering different colors of the clay over and over to obtain a repetitive 3D pattern. This technique is called Millefori caning, an ancient Italian glasswork technique – which is an extremely meticulous and tedious process!

TRADITIONAL JHUMKA (CLASSIC COLLECTION) – INR 800
A color combination that cannot get wrong – hot pink and neon yellow!
There is also a nice Carribean-like floral pattern on the jhumka that adds a 3D effect to these earrings! The jhumka is quite big in size but you cannot tell that by wearing one! :D
These jhumkas will go well with Indian wear – kurtis and sarees!
BUDDHA JHUMKA (DIVINITY COLLECTION) – INR 650
A very unique pair of jhumka – a never seen before design! Buddha motif for studs with a jhumka dangling beneath – perfecto!
The rusty red and mustard yellow make for a great combination with some yellow gold lighly dusted on these earrings, this Buddha Jhumka is certainly an attention grabber.
Will look great again for evening wear with Indo-western or fusion clothing!
TIGER LILY JHUMKA (FLORAL COLLECTION) – INR 500
What an offbeat combo of colors - I must admit that first!
Ever since seeing Kajol rocking pastel shade sarees paired with gray in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, I have been a lover of any offbeat pairing with gray!
The white hand painted patterns to resemble a tiger lily on this adorable mini jhumka is its USP! That oxidized silver just adds to the overall oomph of this simple yet unarguably pretty earring.
LOTUS JHUMKA (FLORAL COLLECTION) – INR 700
Saving the best for the last as they call it – presenting the Queen of jhumkas from my Koral Tree jhumka stash!
A perfect marriage between purple and lilac – this is my all-time favorite shade, not an easy one to spot!
Can’t believe this was handcrafted! Such beautifully moulded petals that resemble a lotus for the jhumka and a three petal blooming bud of the lotus for the stud, simply makes me go WOW!
I open my earrings box now and then, just to adore this pretty earring and get wowed everytime looking at this eclectic purple-lilac mix!
I am obsessed with these earrings and a self-claimed proud owner.
