I HAD to document it from start to finish because I felt like Cinderella, if she'd been a Drag SuperStar! Lol!
Last week I went with my friend, Citabira, to see Shannel & Nina Flowers perform at a local spot in town. I usually stay home on Thanksgiving Eve but there was no way I was missing this show!

I'm a huge fan of RuPaul's Drag Race, where both of these ladies were contestants in Season 1 and BOTH came back to claim the title for the All Star sho, the finale airs tonight! Weeee! So exciting!
So I went to see them perform and ended up getting picked to "dance for my life" on stage w/2 other audience members (Can we say dead?) I was SO nervous bc I have a bad case of stage fright but even in my 6 inch boots, I managed to WIN! That's right, the crowd had to cheer for who should get into the VIP room to meet Shannel & Nina Flowers before everyone one else & for free (they were charging $5 to take pics) and they cheered the loudest for ME!!!! So it was totally worth the mini "dance off" I had to take part in...Lol!
I went to the VIP area & after they finished their performances they came over & took pics w/Me & a few other people that were also in the velvety rope enclosed platform. Shannel looked at me & said "Look at you! You look fabulous! I like your hair & makeup, we both have pink hair!" Of course I was giggling and I was like "Ahhhh! I loved you on the show, you look amazing!" What a doll!
Nina Flowers came up a few minutes after and we spoke in Spanish to each other for a few. There was NO diva-like behavior from either of them and they stayed until every last person got their picture & autograph. There is a picture of me with both of the girls but it's being sent to me. I'll post it as soon as it comes in!

Look! It's Coco! When I won my "dance off", I noticed Coco smiling at me & clapping. When I got off stage we high fived! Lol Thanks gurrrl!
As I said in my video, I listed the products I used and in the order I used them.
*Face & Contouring*
1) As a base I used M.A.C Studio Moisture Tint in the shade "Dark" 2) I applied my Lancome, Maquicomplet concealer (around my eyes & nose) with my billy b. BEAUTY #two brush 3) NYX matte bronzer (light) went on my temples with the Sephora bronzer brush 4) Using my Alcone spone, I applied Kevyn Aucoin's Ethereal Pressed Powder (EP03) down my nose, under my eyes out to my temples, under my cheek bones & in the center of my forehead **I then applied shade (EP13) above my temples, under my jawbone, down the center of my neck & along the sides of my nose. ***After my makeup was done, I buffed out all of the contouring with my M.A.C 150 brush. (When doing "drag makeup" the process of letting your face makeup sit like this is called "cooking" or "letting it cook")
*Cheeks & Highlighting*
5) I built up my Lancome, Color design (Creme Couture) cream blush little by little. I also used Lancome mini flat brush #21 to circle the product on. I LOVE this brush bc it's so small & it hugs my cheek bones for precise application!
6) I applied Kevyn Aucoin's Pure Powder Glow blush in Dolline on my cheekbones up to my temples but not directly on them. I flipped my billy b. #one brush around & used Shadore on the apples of my cheeks.
7) Using my Lancome #4 brush I applied Neolita to the deepest point in my cheeks to deepen the contour, making it more dramatic & my cheekbones even more pronounced.
8) I dabbed my finger in some MakeUp ForEver Star Powder (#947) and ran it down the bridge of my nose, on the top bow of my lips & over the highest point of my cheekbones. I blended it in with my finger.
9) I dusted a small amount of M.A.C Mineralize Blush (Improvise) around the highest points of my face.
*Eyes*
10) I applied Urban Decay primer potion in SIN all over my eyelids using my ring finger (Best for blending!) 11) Using my M.A.C #217 brush (one of my all time faves!) I started blending Laura Mercier's Black Plum eye shadow to the outer corners of my eyes. (Any matte plum shadow will do) I applied this in the shape of a V, top and around to the bottom, but just the corners. 12) I used my M.A.C #272 brush to press & blend M.A.C Fuchsia pigment onto my eyelids. 13) Using my billy b. #eight brush I applied some MakeUp ForEver Star Powder (#947) to the inner corners of my eyes. 14) I used my billy b. #six brush to dust some Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Pure in Gold under my brows. 15) I dabbed my ring finger in some DUO lash glue I tapped over the outer corners of my eyes, where I'd applied the Black Plum shadow. 16) I wiped off the glue & dipped my finger my L.A Splash glitter (Phenomenon) and applied the glitter until you could no longer see the shadow, just glitter. 17) I did the same using this pink glitter on my lids. 18) The Girlactik glitter went in the corner of my eyes over the #947 MUFE Star Powder 19) I used Urban Decay's 24/7 liquid liner in Retrograde to line my lids at the lash line. 20) Whenever applying lashes I always use a small coat of mascara first & this time I used Lancome's Virtuose, Black Carat. 21) Using DUO, I applied my MUFE #119 Blakeley (extreme blue & black flairs) lashes. 22) I used Kevyn Aucoin's eyeliner pencil in Basic White to line my lower waterline. 23) I dipped the end of a small makeup brush in DUO & applied dots to the side of my face. I used different colored gems (in the same color palette) & applied one to each side from big to small, so that they were identical.
I had posted this on instagram the day before because I was trying out different lip looks for the night. But it's a close up so you can see the color transfer. I like the ombre effect bc it made my lips look fuller without having to paint too far away from my natural lip line.
*I ended up using these products to finish the look*
24) I lined my lips using Prestige lip liner in Cabaret. I drew more color in the corners so it would build the base for my dimensional look. 25) I used my billy b. lip brush (not shown here) to apply OCC Lip Tar in Pretty Boy over my lip liner. I then applied Femme in the middle and blended them together. I chose the Lip Tars because of how long lasting & vibrant they are! 26) Next was a drop of Marylin Monroe for M.A.C Dazzleglass in Little Rock over my lips. This was just enough to grab the glitter but not too much so it was a droopy mess. 27) Using my Lancome #8 synthetic brush, I applied glitter to my lips from darkest to lightest, from out to in.
**I used DUO and the middle pink glitter to cover my brows. I wasn't going to do my brows but my wig had bangs so I figured if I used the glitter it would look better, which I think it did :-)
Ahhh! I'm bald! Lol! Sike! This was before I put my wig on ( I had a wig stocking on) & before I added the glitter to my lips, but it's the best I can do for a close up of the makeup. Hahaha! I waited until right before I left to add the glitter to my lips so it would be fresh.

As of this moment Shannel is in the remaining 4 finalists on the show so I'll find out tonight who wins! I wish them all the best and can't wait to watch! Like RuPaul says..."May the best woman, WIN!"
