Peoplecount is a transportation and market research firm located in Toronto that offers research services for the Out of Home advertising industry.
Due to an increased workload, we have an immediate position available for a Senior GIS Technician. The successful candidate should possess a degree or diploma in GIS, geography, traffic engineering or a related field and must have experience with spatial data manipulation. A sound knowledge of ArcGIS is required. In addition, the candidate must possess a thorough understanding of Microsoft Access or other database software developed through several years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, work independently and be a proven problem solver who can think outside the box. Additionally, they must be extremely organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be willing to work overtime if required. Experience with traffic count data is an asset. Fluency in Portuguese may also be an asset.
