Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race 2017 - Daily Updates - Day 43

Daily Diary
Sunday 30th July - Day 43

Wow yet another great day for running. We keep our fingers crossed it continues for as long as possible. 9 days left so they have come so far now is the time to be disciplined and keep the faith.
Kaneenika led the day with118 laps and took another 5 laps out of Nirbhasa who had 113 laps. Less than 5 miles between them.
Vasu went through 2800 miles and while not exactly cruising, looked to be taking things a little easier, as someone who has a lead of around 100 miles, might be inclined to do. He may now finish very late on day 47 or into 48.
Harita does 109 laps and stays above the line. For the last 14 days (after her recovery from sickness) her laps have only varied by 5 per day.
Yolanda has a poor day dropping to 110 laps. She had two tumbles late in the day, resulting in a skinned knee, which just might have affected her performance. The big difference from Harita is her laps have varied by 19 per day since her sickness. So we might see what approach prevails.
With the exception of Ananda-Lahari who goes home at 9pm, all run very solidly.
