Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race 2017 - Daily Updates - Day 14
On day 1, the great, and current leader on day 14, Vasu Duzhiy,managed 137 laps (75.185 miles).
In last place is Ananda-Lahari Zuscin who today put in a fantastic 138 laps. From the very start he ran with style. Duration previous 13 days he had only once (113 on day 4) crossed the needed 109 laps.
At the start of the day he was 207 miles behind the race leader and 96 miles behind the target.
138 laps " the most covered by anyone so far.
A veteran of the sport, he is best known for completing the 3100 five times with a fastest finish of 49 days 14 hours.
When asked "why" such a performance he said "new shoes and lots of ice cream"
