Satthwa Premium Hair Oil

By Hlthbeauty

Only we lose something, do we realize its importance! More or so, when its irreversible ... This holds so true with our crowning glory, if not for anything else!
I have been battling hair issues for quite long now, unable to not do much about it - call it work schedule or poor time management. But this in 2017, I am all set to get my mane back goody good. In fact, I started setting things up for it in 2016 itself.
I chanced upon to try "Satthwa Premium Hair Oil," which is a blend of nine different oils into one.

Satthwa Premium Hair Oil

I have been trying this oil for two months now, and finally down to pen my thoughts on how this fares on me.
SATTHWA PREMIUM HAIR OIL
"Satthwa" is derived from Sanskrit and means "pure." This product offers nothing less than the same for your hair.
This is a blend of nine beneficial oils as follows -

- Olive Oil
- Castor Oil
- Vitamin E Oil
- Almond Oil
- Grapeseed Oil
- Coconut Oil
- Jojoba Oil
- Amla Oil
- Emu Oil

BENEFITS -

  • Contains Omega 6 & 9, Iron, Calcium, Magnesium and rare Vitamin K from Sweet Almond Oil.
  • Ricinoleic acid from Castor Oil which makes hair darker and stops premature greying.
  • Has Lauric acid from E.V Coconut Oil.
  • Jojoba Oil which is Anti-fungal & cleanses the scalp by unclogging pores.
  • Vitamin E contains d-alpha Tocopherol.
  • Amla Oil which is rich in Vitamin C.
  • Grapeseed Oil which delays skin aging.
  • Emu Oil stimulates dormant hair follicles and helps in new hair growth.
  • E.V Olive Oil treats dry and damaged hair.

All these above oils are renowned for their benefits to skin and hair. I remembered my grandma used to apply a warm blend of three oils - coconut oil, castor oil and sesame oil (Tamilian tradition!) every week for hair growth and nourishment, when I tried this oil.
The product is a golden-yellow oil that is not too dense considering it has some heavy oils like castor. There is no additional fragrance or mineral oil to make it lighter or smell better - which I am totally for!
The packaging is simple and functional. The product label has all the details you would want to know.
I warm it up a little before application and massage thoroughly into my scalp and hair till the ends. I generally wash off in 30 mins. to 1 hour of application. I use only a shampoo (twice) and skip conditioner whenever I wash my hair post some hair oil application. I sometimes add a drop or two or rosemary or lavender oil before application.
My hair feels soft and manageable post wash. It has a nice shine to it. In the first two uses, I did not see any changes except aforesaid. My hair fall was just the same. I too was not using it regularly.

But slowly with regular use (once a week), I have seen reduction in hair fall and also new hair growth in area where my hair was thinning. I couldn't believe my eyes when I could see new hair in the place where I could earlier see the scalp through!

Yes, this hair oil works and yes, it comes at a premium price too - INR 599 for 100 ml. But, its totally worth it!

I am close to finishing this oil and this lasted me a little more than 2 months with once a week use.

I have a lot of other hair oils that I have hoarded from before to finish off - that's my plan for 2017... Project Empties! But I definitely see myself picking another bottle of this once I am done with my existing stock of hair care oils.

This product is the brainchild of Prashant, who personally suffered from hair loss and ended up developing this blended oil, since nothing else worked for him. He is just spreading the same goodness to everyone around through his brand "Satthwa".

You too can buy a bottle of "Satthwa Premium Hair Oil" here -

The brand claims one can see definitive results with regular use for 3-4 months. That is 2 bottles down! There is no other chemicals added into this blended oil, no mineral oil, silicone or parabens, which is amazing. It also has some special ingredients like grapeseed oil, emu oil - that you don't see in your day to day oils from other renowned brands.

This product gets a thumbs up from me!
