It's no secret I love making bread :-) Everything from watching the yeast proof, to forming the product! I just love it :-) We make homemade sloppy Joes and LOVE homemade rolls with it. This recipe is using my standard bread recipe just shaped into rolls. Top has melted butter on it. These make for a great sandwich!

In a bowl add your 1/2 C warm water, yeast and your one T of sugar. Now let it sit for 5 minutes. The yeast should become bubbly. If it doesn't, then you need to restart. Add your 1 1/2 C warm not hot water, olive oil, flour, sugar and salt. Mix till it becomes a ball of dough. If its to wet add some flour. Now get a bowl and spray it or wipe it with oil. Put your dough and turn it to coat. Turn your oven on and put it on the back of your stove covered. Let it rise till its doubled. Once its doubled, take it and put it on a cutting board and knead it. Next cut it into about 8 pieces or more depending on how big you want the rolls. When I did it it made 8. Now take the 8 pieces and shape them into rounder balls. Put them on the a parchment paper cookie sheet that you will bake them on. That way you don't have to move them and risk them sinking. Cover and let rise for about 10 minutes. Put it in the oven for about 20 minutes....They will be golden brown at 350. Take them out and set them on a cooling rack. Brush with butter.
