Sailboat Capsize and Fatality in Virginia

Only one day after the good news from Chicago of three sailors rescued after their boat capsized comes tragic news from Isle of Wight, Virginia, of another capsize leading to the death of one or possibly two men. Ten people in their twenties went on a midnight cruise down the St. James River in a 22-foot sailboat. The boat capsized for reasons as yet unknown. Five were able to swim two or three miles to shore, and four were pulled out after hours clinging to debris - one of whom died thereafter. The search continued Friday for the tenth man, who has still not been found. This morning the search was called off and a recovery mission begun for the presumedly drowned man.
