So for some British Drum and Bass in the form of Rudimental. Now I know that D&B isn’t to everyone’s tastes but this is a very chilled track. So first some history: Rudimental have been together since 2010 but really cam rout on the scene in 2012 with their single ‘Feel The Love’ with singer John Newman and have since worked with the likes of Alex Clare and Ella Eyre. This time they are working with 18 year old MNEK and 19 year old Syron who both sound vocally older than their tender teen years (we’re very jealous here at TWSH as we’re all now 24+).

So Spoons really does have spoons in it. Just listen to the chilled backing and the sound that creates the rhythm that makes you dance win your chair. This track is full of elongated synth patterns, repeating spoon riffs and reversed vocals. A chilled summer track, without the summer weather, that makes you want to party in the setting rays of the summer sun with a cold drink and good friends.

Our recommendation: download the track, stick it on loop and chill. No more, no less.
