This past weekend, my family and I hit the road and headed East to Jacksonville, TX for a wedding. WOO HOO! ROAD TRIP!
I love road trips. I especially love taking photos on road trips! This 5-hour drive from Wimberley to Jacksonville was pretty amazing. From the beauty of the Hill Country to the desolation of the plains, the landscape was forever changing during our journey. There were no shortages of cows, and the depression of dead or dying towns complete with shanties increased the further east we went had a strange sort of allure. Each town had a story to tell, and I loved watching it unfold.
