That’s right! If you have not seen it lately, the Raven Maria Blanco Foundation (RMBF) has been going viral. The original song that combined the Grammy Award winning talents of composer/producer Michael “Magnedo7” Crawford and his lyrically gifted wife Shameia Crawford has reached social media users all around the world.
The video version of the song, produced by Alisha “M’Jestie” Brooks has received more than 44,000 388,00 YouTube views in a matter of days. The song/video entitled “The Guardian Angel “Raven’s Song” originally performed by Shameia Crawford and re-recorded by Dream Little Dreamers has found its way into the views of celebrities such as: DJ Latin Prince (Lady Gaga DJ), NFL Player Andrew Hawkins, singer/songwriter/producer Yung Duval, supermodel Cynthia Bailey, ABC News 20/20 Anchor Chris Cuomo and just recently Wyclef Jean’s right hand man… DJ King Assassin. Not to mention the thousands of views by loyal tweeters, facebookers and youtubers all over the nation.
The song will be featured on a rotation basis for the next three weeks on 98.2 The Beat.
The video was created with the talented contributions of Mixing Engineer Paul Arnold “The Bodega”, Musical Producer Courtney Beard “The Bodega” and Director Kory Smith from Visually Inklined Studios.

RMBF Inc. credits its recent success to Richard Roles, owner/CEO of MBMedia, a graphic design company located in London. Richard is known to be on the scene as a full time DJ working mostly in venues in Spain, Greece and the UK where he also plays a secondary role as a magician…where he is known to make magic happen!
The video has touched the lives and hearts of literally thousands of people but RMBF knows there is much more work to do. This non-profit 501C(3) organization was founded under tragic circumstances. On March 9, 2007, 8-year-old Raven Maria Blanco passed away unexpectedly, leaving family and friends with the challenge of learning to live in a world dimmed by her absence. Raven’s passing was devastating, especially to her parents. In an instant, the world cracked, swallowed joy, and the little angel disappeared. Imagine a room of bright lights, glittered streamers, laughter bouncing off the walls, star-lit ceilings, and music dancing in the air – then darkness and silence, disorientation and pain. There are no words to express the void that existed in the hearts of those who knew little Raven.
Raven died under conscious sedation during a routine dental procedure. The autopsy showed Raven had a blood concentration of 24 mg/L of chloral hydrate — three times the average range — which the medical examiner considered lethal.
RMBF, Inc. is dedicated to the education and advocacy of Pediatric Emergency Preparedness. Mario and the rest of the RMBF family believe that perhaps had the office been prepared to handle the situation his daughter, his angel, Raven Maria Blanco, would still be here with us today. Over the years there have been nineteen deaths of children due to similar causes and the foundation provides resources for Dental Health Professionals, Educators and Parents to become better prepared and aware of the preventative tools available.
For so long it appeared as though no one was listening; as if the tireless efforts of RMBF were going unnoticed…that is until recently. In a post made out to their Facebook followers, RMBF Kids states:
I have to say that there are truly good people in this world. People that see you have a message and want to help you without asking for anything in return. People that go above and beyond without putting their hand out asking for a share… It’s rare to come across people like that and we as a foundation know all too well that a lot of people we have dealt with are wolves in sheep’s clothing. We have been burned in a major way by people who claimed to be helping us when all they really wanted was to get their pockets fatter. So I’m taking this moment to thank those people who have opened their hearts to us, the people who are spreading our message without looking to reap the benefits. We love you and could not make as large an impact without you. Big things to come for RMBF – We hope to put a stop to pediatric dental deaths… With your help sharing our message we WILL MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
