I am in complete and utter love with the Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer, so I thought that I would give this foundation a go. I got it for two reasons, 1 I thought I could double it up and use it for both a foundation and a concealer and 2 it is really hard to get a foundation that actually matches my skin tone.
The selling point of the foundation is the "match perfection" and to be honest the color match is perfection. It matches 100% and I am so impressed. I expected good things of the color match and it really did live up to my expectations.
The main feel of the product is that it is really light. The coverage is light to medium but it feels weightless on the skin. You can layer it up and it doesn't cling to any dry patches. If you use one layer it gives a sheer coverage but quite a matte finish but if you put on another layer then the coverage definitely increases but it changes to quite a dewy finish. I really like this factor as it almost gives a two in one look.My only problem with this product is that it doesn't last at all. Honestly it lasts about an hour, I have not tried it with a primer yet so if I do I will update you. But as I said it doesn't last long at all.
This is £6.99 here and it really is worth it. If you have a good primer or a good concealer then I think this product will be great for you. It also works on all skin types.
