I love typical Autumnal lip colours and at the moment this is one of my favourites. I only picked it up last week but so far it has had loads of use and I know I'll be using again and again throughtout Autumn and Winter.
I've never tried a Rimmel lip product before, which is surprising because they have a huge range. Anyway I love a good matte lip and when I was searching for one I thought I would give the Kate range a go. I chose 107 because it is gorgeous and perfect for the coming seasons. I think the shade is a really wearable dark red. It is something I have worn for work, so on a day to day basis, but could easily be made up for the night with a smokey eye.
When you put it on it is so creamy, which is lovely because the only other matte lipstick I have used before is MAC Ruby Woo, and lets face it that is dry as a bone and awful to apply (but so gorgeous and worth it!). It is really nice and easy to apply.
It lasts really well however only if you're not eating and drinking. Because it is so creamy it does transfer really easily and will fade away if you are using your mouth too much. However if you're not eating and stuff it will last a good 5+ hours without reapplying.
Finally the packaging is beautiful. The red, matte packaging is gorgeous. It is really simplistic but looks great on display. It is also really reasonably priced at £5.49 (buy here).
So overall I would give this lipstick 4/5. It is gorgeous I just wish it didn't transfer as easily. I would love to know if you have tried it and what you think.
