Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer - Luna, Nova, Celestial

The amazingly well named 'Apocalips' are a fairly new range of (as Rimmel put's it) earth-shattering lip lacquers. They are a happy medium between a long lasting intensely pigmented lipstick & a lipgloss. With one swipe of the applicator you are left with a thick high shine color on the lip, & I don't mean thick as in heavy & gloopy (technical word) I mean thick as in rich, soft & creamy. The packaging is clear so you can easily see the shade within & I love the rough cut diamond shaped black lid. The doe foot applicator has a slight diagonal shaped tip so you can get a precise application around the lip line.There is even a little 'well' in the applicator that holds onto a lot of product so you can get a nice even finish.
After a few hours the intense shine wears off my lips leaving them with a hint of color & feeling a little dry. With another application or a dab of lip balm the dryness goes away. The staying power of these lip lacquers are great, especially the darker of the three shades I own.Over all Rimmel Apocalips are a great priced high street lip lacquer, that feels comfortable on the lip, with intense pigmentation & staying power.
