Today I will be reviewing Rimmels Lasting Finish Foundation, I chose to do this as the weather has been really unpredictable and so I wanted to put it too a real test. First I want to comment on the colour, it is really quite dark for shade "100, Ivory". I am very pale and so I need a foundations that will match my skin tone. This is not a perfect match by any means, it will do as I use a very sheer layer but if you are as pale as me but want heavier coverage then you are going to have a real problem. The coverage is very sheer, if you put on one layer you won't have flawless skin. But it is definitely buildable, again I don't really build it up as the color goes way too dark but you can achieve an almost flawless finish. This product does last, but in patches. I don't wear foundation for 25hrs so I can't comment on that but however long I do wear it for, at the end of the day I notice patches where it is clung too and the coverage has come off.As it is a long wear foundation it is quite drying on the skin. I have normal/combination skin so it is ok with me, but if you have especially dry skin I do not think this product is for you. But if you have combination/oily skin I think this would work really well.It comes in at £6.99, which I think is quite a reasonable price. You can always pick it up on offer in boots aswell. You can get it here and you currently get a free gift when you spend £10 or more on Rimmel products.Overall I think this product it good for specific skin. It does cling to dry patches and the color is not so hot. I do think it is really good for school, if you want sheer coverage but just want to blur the imperfections, then it is a really great foundation. I have used up all of my bottle so I do enjoy using it.Thanks, see you soon.
