Rihanna has been known for her wild fashion trends; recently she got blond hair and had a 2pac white ink tattoo. Both of the new additions to the hit singer made the top news but we never knew that something this big was under the table.

Yes many posters and trailers of the 2012 release Battleship emerged earlier this year but there was no clue of Rihanna being in it. We certainly got surprised when she appeared on an Italian language promotional poster of the movie. Well Rihanna sure took the spot light with thigh high leather boots and studded shorts. The 23 year old hit singer plays the role of a US Navy Officer in the action flick with other major superstars such as Liam Neeson, Alexander Skaarsgard, Brooklyn Decker and Taylor Kitsch.

The movie director Peter Perg said that, “She was great and has a very strong part in the movie. He was also surprised that no one had ever before thought of casting her.”
