By Makeuppedia @shruthi2588
Hey everyone!
After having tried the balm stain and the lip butter from Revlon, i can very well say that i have started loving the brand and would like to try more products.
Today i am going to review the newly launched and the much loved  Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 001 Honey!

I have been carrying it with me for the past 2 weeks and hence the inscription on the tube is almost gone!

What Revlon says: It’s a pampering balm fused with a lightweight lipstain in an adorable chubby crayon. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour. The gel formula comes in 12 vibrant shades that match any look or mood.
The website shows 11 shades and i am not sure if all of them have been launched in India. I saw 10 of them at the stores here in Chennai.
My experience: I was so desperate to try them ever since they were launched in India as they were the very similar to the Clinique chubby sticks which costs double this one's price. But i spotted them in shops only 2 weeks after getting launched. I wanted to play safe, so picked up this lightest shade. But to my surprise, it is build-able and on swiping it 6-7 times, i got a deep shade on my lips indeed. The packaging is so cute and i love the twist up jumbo stick.

It goes on smooth on lips and i experienced no tugging. The pointed tip is really convenient to apply, especially easy to access the corners of my lips.

On application, it appears to be very light at first, but after a while it turns to a beautiful colored stain on the lips.

I reapplied quite heavily to get an idea of the actual color and pigmentation. It covers any pigmentation and gives a good tint despite being a light shade. Actually it gives an almost natural look to my lips. Check the pictures. This is exactly how i would want my lips to be!

It did not dry my lips, that might probably be because i had already prepped my lips with a balm, a while before applying the stain. The color/stain was on my lips for about 5 to 6 hours despite having an oily snack in the evening. One thing i was not very comfortable with was the way it faded. It was almost gone at the center on my lips (vertically) and was fully  stained towards the outer lips, like i had applied some thick liner on my lips. I also love the slight minty cool sensation it gives on application, just like my blistex lip balm. It gives a glossy look to the lips, which i love. Here is a picture with flash, to show the actual color.

The good:
1. Hides the pigmentation on my lips.
2. Super cute packaging.
3. Does not dry the lips.
4. Gives a glossy finish.
5. Minty and cool sensation on applying.
6. The color stays on for upto 6 hours.
7. Has a variety of shades to choose from.
The not so good:
1. The only point that i could think of is, the lips need to be prepped (scrubbed and well moisturized) before applying this balm.
Final word: I love this balm to bits and planning to get some really bright shades soon. And i recommend this to everyone!
I would rate this 4.7/5.
Have a nice day!
