Hey everyone. How is your weekend coming up? Mine started on a good note. SHOPPING!! A trip to the mall will have to be absolutely incomplete without a quick (not so quick) look at the makeup aisle.
I was surprised when I found out Pune has already stocked up on the Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadows. It was not something I was expecting, usually makeup stuff comes to Pune when it has been well distributed all over India, okay that be an exaggeration but you get the jest. Not surprising but disappointing for sure the Revlon matte lip balms had not made an entry yet. But, all 20 eyeshadows were there, I think I will take that and be happy with the improvement.
So here are the swatches and a little details on the eyeshadows, kind of a mini review, havent really used them yet but what ever I could get from swatching all 20 of them I shall share with all of you.
Price: 175 INR
The quiet liked the concept . You can mix and match and create your own palette on the go. These individual eyeshadows can be stacked alongside each other or used singularly, which makes them very travel friendly.
These eyeshadows are categorized as
Neutrals which have 4 eyeshadows
Bone, Sand, Taupe and Java
Pinks and Plums which have 5 eyeshadows
Oyster, Candy, Lilac, Plum, Eggplant
Blues and Grays which have 6 eyeshadows
Seafoam, Periwinkle, Peacock, Silver, Gunmetal and Oynx
Greens and Golds which have 5 eyeshadows
Lime, Khaki, Gold, melon and Copper.
I like the color variety and they are so decently priced at 175 INR each.

These eyeshadows are all swatches without a primer, so over a primer they will appear darker and more pigmented. Amongst these I was disappointed with Bone and Lime, they had poor pigmentation rest all 8 eyeshadows had decent pigmentation. Non of these shades blew me away with their pigmentation but they are not total duds either.
REVLON EYESHADOW
Amongst these eyeshadows mostly all of them were pigmented, I am sure they will all look great with a primer underneath. Although SAND is not showing up here in the picture but its a beautiful eyeshadow for inner corners and highlighting under the brown bone.
These eyeshadows have four different finishes satin, matte, pearl and metallic, so you have plenty of variety and choices.
Overall I think these are good options for makeup beginners who want to try and experiment with makeup without burning a hole in the pocket.Even other wise they are they are decent drugstore options for budget buy. I have picked up three of these eyeshadows and will review them in detail later.
