My experience with the product
Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm comes in a glossy/metallic twist-up packaging. The color coded packaging makes it easier to identify shades if you own more than one. I love the overall look of the glossy crayon and the twist-up crayon mechanism avoids product wastage from sharpening. The texture is very similar to a tinted lip balm i.e. soft, smooth, light-weight and very hydrating. The color glides on the lips easily and it feels very light and comfortable on lips. It keeps dryness away from the lips. The formula has mint flavor that creates a tingling sensation on the lips when freshly applied. The finish is glossy and satin and the hydrating and light weight feel makes it a essential product this winter! Vivacious is a berry toned bright pink shade that would flatter on every complexion. The vibrant color adds glow and life to a dull face. This shade almost resembles L'Oreal Paris Glam Shine Pomegranate Punch and Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon Fuchsia Libre. The shades in Colorburst Lacquer range are almost sheer but this is the most pigmented shade from the range. Though it looks sheer on tube, it turns out deep berry pink when applied on lips. It gives almost opaque coverage in 2 swipes. It wears well for 5 hours and further leaves soft pink stain on lips. The price might be a con for some as the Revlon Just Bitten Balms (read review here) have much nice pigmentation and shade variety but were priced just Rs 600.
