Youngblood is a new brand to me here at The Beauty Clientele so when the team at Recreate Yourself contacted me and asked if I'd like to try some of their products I jumped at the chance.
Youngblood founded in 1996 is a mineral makeup line that was developed in response to women who had undergone cosmetic procedures such as laser treatments and cosmetic surgeries or suffering from skin conditions such as acne and rosacea. The line claims to be gentle enough to use on delicate and problematic skin. The brand also prides itself on the fact that they do not test on animals and the brand is part of the PETA Cruelty Free Program.

I was sent the Mineral Radiance Moisture Tint and the Luminous Creme Blush in Taffeta to review. Unfortunately as you can see the color match for the foundation is completely off- I would have been better suited to the lightest shade (Nude). Natural featured here is the second lightest color in the range. The base itself is lovely and dewy- would be perfect for those with dry to normal skin types. If your skintype borders on the normal to oily or very oily I think this is one to miss. As the color was too dark for me I had to mix this into one of my lighter foundations to make it work therefore I can't give an accurate description of how it holds up throughtout the day. One thing to note if you are a medium coverage loving girl don't be put off by the name- Moisture Tint. The product offers much more coverage than a tint and builds up easily to provide good coverage.
The blush on the other hand is perfect! I love creme blushes in the winter when your skin in dry creme products provide a beautiful radiance and pop of color to the cheeks. I could see this pretty pink working on many skin tones. The color lasts well throughtout the day and tops up well by adding a little powder blush ontop if you're heading out straight after work.
